By creating an account, purchasing PollTwin Individual Lifetime Access, subscribing to a Team plan, or using this Service, you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not purchase, subscribe to, or use the Service. The Service is operated by CKB Devs (“PollTwin,” “we,” or “us”).
PollTwin lets registered users create polls, share a link to collect votes, and view live results. Voting on a public poll does not require an account. Creating and managing polls requires an account and either the Individual plan's one-time purchase or a Team plan subscription, both described in Section 3.
PollTwin offers two ways to get an account with poll creation enabled: an Individual account (this section) and a Team plan for companies (below). They are billed differently and this section's “Lifetime Access Fee” terms apply to Individual accounts only.
Creating an Individual PollTwin account requires a one-time payment of $5.00 USD (“Lifetime Access Fee”). This is a single charge, not a subscription — you will not be billed again to keep using the Service.
What “lifetime” means. “Lifetime access” refers to the operational lifetime of the Service — that is, for as long as PollTwin continues to operate — and not to the lifetime of any individual user. It is not a guarantee that the Service will operate forever. Section 8 explains what happens if we discontinue the Service.
What it includes. The Lifetime Access Fee entitles a registered Individual account to: unlimited poll creation with no expiration date, custom branding (a chosen accent color and, where supported, a logo) on every poll created, and a Service free of third-party advertising, for as long as the Service operates, subject to these Terms.
Team plans. Instead of the Individual plan's one-time Lifetime Access Fee, a company may set up a Team plan: a recurring monthly subscription, billed through our payment processor, covering every account registered with a verified email address at that company's own domain, up to the seat limit of the tier chosen (5 seats, 10 seats, or unlimited). A Team plan is not a one-time purchase and does not grant “lifetime” access in the sense described above — access for the company and everyone on its domain continues only for as long as the subscription remains active, and ends if the subscription is canceled or payment fails. The company's designated plan owner may cancel a Team subscription at any time through the billing portal linked from their team plan management page; cancellation stops future charges but does not entitle the company to a refund of charges already billed, except as required by applicable law.
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, if higher) to create an account.
You keep ownership of the questions, options, and any logo or branding assets you upload to a poll (“User Content”). By posting User Content, you grant PollTwin a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and transmit it solely to operate the Service — for example, showing your poll and its branding to the people who vote on it.
You are responsible for your User Content, including any logo, image, or branding you upload. You confirm that you have the right to use it and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights or violate the law.
You agree not to use PollTwin to:
We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate this section.
PollTwin does not display third-party advertisements to registered users or to the visitors voting on their polls, and we do not sell space on poll pages to advertisers. This ad-free commitment is a core part of both the Individual Lifetime Access plan and Team subscription plans described in Section 3, and applies for as long as the Service operates under these Terms (for a Team plan, for as long as the subscription remains active).
We may modify, update, or temporarily suspend parts of the Service at any time to maintain, improve, or secure it. We will make reasonable efforts to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
If PollTwin is no longer able to operate the Service. Should CKB Devs cease operating PollTwin permanently — for example, due to the company closing, becoming insolvent, or otherwise being unable to continue running the Service (a “Discontinuation Event”) — we will make commercially reasonable efforts to:
Because the Lifetime Access Fee is a one-time payment for access during the Service's operational lifetime — not a guarantee that the Service will run forever — a Discontinuation Event does not, by itself, entitle you to a refund of the original $5.00 fee, except as described in Section 9 or as required by applicable law.
If PollTwin is acquired or transferred. If PollTwin's business or assets are acquired, merged, or otherwise transferred to another company, these Terms and your Lifetime Access may be assigned to that company, which will continue to honor the Lifetime Access granted under these Terms to the extent reasonably practicable.
Individual accounts. If you are not satisfied, you may request a full refund of the $5.00 Lifetime Access Fee within 14 days of purchase by contacting us at the email address in Section 15. Outside that window, the Lifetime Access Fee is generally non-refundable, except where required by applicable consumer-protection law.
Team plans. Team subscriptions may be canceled at any time to stop future billing, but charges already billed for the current or a past billing period are generally non-refundable, except where required by applicable consumer-protection law.
The PollTwin name, logo, and the Service's design, software, and branding (excluding your own User Content) are owned by CKB Devs and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without permission.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PollTwin and CKB Devs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to PollTwin: the $5.00 Lifetime Access Fee for an Individual account, or the Team subscription charges paid in the 3 months preceding the claim for a Team plan.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify registered users by email or through a notice in the Service before the changes take effect. Continuing to use PollTwin after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Louisiana, United States of America, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
